Tam Smith, along with two football friends (Neil MacRae and Willie Mackenzie) are running the Edinburgh Half Marathon on Sunday 27 May 2012, the purpose of the run is to raise funds for the Craig Gowans Memorial Fund at the sick kids friends foundation, I hope you can contribute something to this venture, to justify the sweat & tears.
The Craig Gowans memorial fund was established in April 2007, the motivation at the heart of this venture was to ensure that the memory of Craig is used as a driving force for good. Craig passed tragically on the 8th of July 2005, two weeks into his professional contract with Falkirk Football Club. The loss of Craig is still extremely difficult for us to bear, but by using his memory as motivation for good, Craig’s legacy lives on forever.
